using a planner to organise your time

The image on the left is an example of a Year 10 student homework planner. It has been designed around commitments the student has and identifies times where no effective or efficient study would be completed, such as during dinner and watching TV.

There should be some blank squares left! Decide on what you are going to do with them. Outline how many hours you need per area of study - and block them in! Remember in some weeks you may have commitments that take up the entire day, so work to flexibly ensure that study is accounted for and made up for. This is why a new planner is created each week. |
